A long-prepared hybrid war: Russian disinformation and interference attempts in Ukraine

A bit over a year ago, Vladimir Putin started his illegal war of aggression in Ukraine. In the lead-up and throughout the war, Russian disinformation campaigns, cyberattacks and other hybrid tactics have been widely used to destabilize the functioning of Ukrainian democracy. Western allies are committed to support Ukraine in combating these threats.

During this webinar, the Renew Europe Group will engage in discussions with experts in the field to examine Russia’s disinformation and interference attempts in Ukraine, both before and during the war. As experts provide a state of play and outline potential remedies, hosts Nathalie Loiseau and Petras Auštrevičius will draw political conclusions on the way forward.
