Elisabetta Gualmini MEP joins Renew Europe
Renew Europe has today welcomed Elisabetta Gualmini MEP (Azione, IT) to its political family in the European Parliament.
The decision strengthens the pro-European centre at a decisive moment for the Union. Renew Europe now counts 76 Members of the European Parliament and continues to grow as the political home for reformist, pro - European forces.
A full Professor of political science at the University of Bologna and former Vice-President of the Emilia-Romagna region, Elisabetta Gualmini combines intellectual authority with executive experience. Elisabetta joins the Group with a clear commitment: to defend freedom, democracy, reinforce Europe’s economic strength and ensure social fairness in an increasingly unstable world.
Commenting on her decision, Elisabetta Gualmini MEP said:
