The Renew Europe Group in the European Parliament has adopted a position paper on SMEs “ Our commitment to Europe’s SMEs”, in order to take actions to maximize the impact of existing support measures, whilst defining its long-term program to protect SMEs. Renew Europe's priorities for SMEs include: more opportunities for procurement contracts, better access to finance, putting an end to late payments to SMEs, cutting administrative burdens, more investments across Europe and a supportive SME friendly legislative environment, among others.

Renew Europe présente ses priorités pour protéger les PME dans un paysage post-pandémique
Les petites et moyennes entreprises européennes sont le moteur essentiel de notre économie européenne. Les défis auxquels nos PME sont confrontées à la suite de la pandémie de COVID-19 nécessitent un effort européen coordonné et sans précédent. Le groupe Renew Europe au Parlement européen a adopté un document de position sur les PME, afin d’agir pour maximiser l'impact des mesures de soutien existantes, tout en définissant son programme à long terme pour protéger les PME. Les priorités de Renew Europe pour les PME comprennent notamment : davantage de possibilités de contrats d'approvisionnement, un meilleur accès au financement, la fin des retards de paiement, la réduction des charges administratives, davantage d'investissements dans toute l'Europe et un environnement législatif favorable aux PME.
Europe veut voir les PME au centre des projets de l'UE. Nous demandons à la Commission de proposer un examen et un débat de type "État de l'Union des PME", qui se tiendrait chaque année en séance plénière du Parlement européen. Les PME devraient être au cœur de la stratégie à long terme pour la relance industrielle européenne.
