One Renew Europe's priority for gender equality is to stand up firmly against constant attacks and backlashes on women’s rights, including access to contraception and turn the tide in guaranteeing the rights of all women to safe abortion as a healthcare service. In 2022 we initiated a resolution to amend the EU's Charter of Fundamental Rights to include every woman the right to safe and legal abortion.
The first event in this series will take place in Holstebro, Denmark, with the screening of the French movie l’Evénement, followed by a roundtable discussion with stakeholders from Danish Civil Society, the local Danish chapter of Radikale Venstre, NGOs Kondomeriet, and Sex & Samfund.
