In our Renew Europe publication "How Europe can win geopolitical power", we had one clear message: We Europeans must leverage our economic strengths by finally completing the Single Market and removing the internal barriers that hold us back. As the joint One Europe, One Market Roadmap of the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission makes clear, turning this ambition into reality requires a sense of urgency, political ownership, and measurable outcomes. The Commission and Member States must step up implementation and enforcement to ensure that these commitments are fully delivered and have a measurable impact. By guaranteeing that our delivery remains visible and measurable through regular stocktaking, we can successfully translate our economic strategy into tangible global power.
