Renew Europe Group is happy to announce that Nicola Danti and his Italia Viva will join the Renew Group in the European Parliament.
Mr Danti and Italia Viva share Renew Europe’s values, objectives and the willingness to build a central political force with the aim of giving a new impetus to the European project.
Dacian Cioloş, President of Renew Europe, said:
"I am delighted today to build a partnership between Italia Viva and Renew Europe which will strengthen and broaden our group in the European Parliament. Nicola Danti MEP shares our values, convictions and drive to reform the EU. We are also happy that we once again have a founding EU member Italy represented in our group."
Renew Europe now has 98 MEPs from 22 Member States.
