The Renew Europe vision for the EU Emissions Trading System

The EU Emission Trading System (ETS) must be strengthened in order to cut emissions faster and set a clearer carbon price signal.

Renew Europe calls for a revision of the ETS that secures sufficient climate ambition, the integrity of the system, EU competitiveness, predictability for industry and a level playing field across companies, sectors and Member States.
